The New Hyperspace Era is a series of high-quality Star Wars
fan-fics that are truly worthy of the name. The NHE is Expanded
Universe complient and takes place 30 years after the Legacy of the
Force series. Read more in the psuedo-FAQ
NHE Links
Over the years, I have visited many webpages. Here are some
that I found particularly interesting.
Affiliates
The Adventures of
Bob and Steve
could be considered a sister site to the NHE. This is a spin-off of the
popular Halo parody, "Red vs. Blue" using the game Jedi Academy
instead.
It is created and maintained by NHE cast member Samcol Tipba. He plays
Steve in the movies. I play Bob. Give it a look. The "Weird Stuff"
section has some great stuff in it as well.
The "You tell me what it sounds like 2" sound effect is courtesy of me.
;-)
Yoda's Datapad is another site with a good amount of Star Wars info. The accuracy of the book countdown ticker on this site
is due to the excellent book release schedule on the Datapad. The book newsletter is also good and is a recommended read.
Other Sites
These are sites that don't link back to me, and most likely, the
webmasters have no clue of my existance. Shame, really. These are the
bigger, official sites
StarWars.com is the official Star Wars site. A good site for a rainy afternoon read.
The Completely Unofficial Star Wars Encyclopedia is an amazing reference site for anything Star Wars. A godsend for fan-fic authors
Wikipedia is simply the best site on the internet. Well, second to this one,
of course ;-) Seriously, you can find any topic you want on here. You can spend years looking at this site, and still not have seen all the pages.
Wookieepedia is Wikipedia for Star Wars. Another great reference site for Star Wars.
OpenSuse is a "worldwide community program sponsored by Novell that promotes the use of Linux everywhere".
The NHE is developed primarily under Linux, and our only distribution of Linux is Suse. It's easy to use (assuming you're a Windows Power User) and is really great to use. Break the chains of Microsoft and go Open Source! (If you don't know what Linux is, don't bother going there)
Save The Internet! As you read this, a battle is taking place. It's outcome will affect your life in every way. The battle is for
net neutrality, which simply means "Net Neutrality ensures that all users can access the content or run the applications and devices of their choice. With Net Neutrality, the network's only job is to move data — not choose which data to privilege with higher quality service. Net Neutrality prevents the companies that control the wires from discriminating against content based on its source or ownership.
Net Neutrality is the reason why the Internet has driven economic innovation, democratic participation, and free speech online. It's why the Internet has become an unrivaled environment for open communications, civic involvement and free speech." Save the internet and support sites like this which would suffer if the fundamental
law of the internet was broken!
